Olean, NY Denise C. Fracek of 132 N. 21st St. passed away peacefully Saturday (August 29, 2015) at the Olean General Hospital. Born December 17, 1958 in Brockport she was the daughter of Leo and Zelena Childs Turner. On December 24, 1992 in Albion she married Robert H. Fracek, Sr. who survives. Denise graduated from Holley High School, attended hairdressing school and later attended college for accounting. She was a truck driver for several years and was then a school bus driver for over 20 years, principally for Holley High School. Her passion was her family and her love for children. Along with her husband she was a foster parent in Orleans County for over 10 years and together they later added four more children to their family through adoption. She lived simply, preferring to give her time and energy to her family. She, her husband and their younger children spent the last several years traveling the highway in their RV as part of the group known as "Full-time Families". Surviving besides her husband are her father and stepmother Leo and Eileen Turner of Allegany; 8 children Adam McGuire of York, Robert Fracek, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Michael (Tatiana) McGuire, serving with the US Navy in Seal Beach, CA, Jen (Joseph) Tomkinson of Batavia, Rachel (John) Howson of St. Inigoes, MD and Bryce Fracek, Savannah Fracek and George Fracek, all of Olean; 5 grandchildren; 1 sister Diane (Timothy) Boyce of Petal, MS; 1 brother Robert (Laurel) Turner of Rochester and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and a brother George Turner. Friends will be received on Saturday (September 3, 2015) from 10am to 11am at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A funeral service will be conducted from 11 to 11:30am after which the family will continue to receive friends until 12:30pm. Rev. Dan Buringrud, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Allegany, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, any donations will be directed toward payment of funeral expenses. Any extra monetary amounts will be placed in a trust for Denise's three youngest children. Online condolences may be expressed at oleanfuneralhome.com.
